Combined Projects

Hi,
I am currently trying out Merlin within the trial period and testing the feature "combine projects". This works fine so far. But updating information along the different files seems to be a problem.
I have a main file where several subprojects are combined. But when I update a subproject no information in the main file is updated.
How one can force an update?

The updates will get transferred when you save the changed file, or as soon as auto-save kicks in.
Also... if the files are placed on a cloud service and you are currently viewing the master on another device, you'll need to wait until the changed versions of the files are transferred by the cloud service to your device and merging of the new information is completed.

So to force an update I would save my changed file.

Is there a possibility to link tasks between two subprojects in combined projects? If I select a task from each of the subprojects and want to link them, then this is grayed-out.

That's because it is not possible. You can link the root activity of sub-projects but not a task from one sub-project to another task of another sub-project.
