Here are a few items we would like to bring to your attention to help us being more efficient with Merlin.
Calendar
Copy a calendar or parts of it from one project to an other.
Since we often copy an old similar project with an old calendar, we have to instal new exceptions that are already in an other project. Copying a calendar from a more recent project would help.
When we enlarge the columns, only the title column is enlarged, the others cannot be.
How can we change the date format and standardize it.
Library
We copy all of our activity groupings in the library (such as foundations, structure, internal divisions, electricity, etc.)
When we open a grouping with « Open with Merlin Project 8 (not 9.1.2).app », we can make modifications, but if we save these, it does not saves to the library !
When we share a project on iCloud, my associate can open it (and make modifications), but surprisingly, he does not see the same library as I !
Predecessors
Our working days are from 8h00 to 12h and 13h to 17h (8 hours)
When we use a SE predecessor let say for a one day task, Merlin shows the start hour 8h00, but the end hour is 8h00 the next day, instead of 17h00 the same day. This is awkward ! It seams the off-hours are not taken into account contrary to other predecessors like ES, EE and SS. Shouldn’t this be corrected ?
