Alerts for clients not using Merlin

Is there a way that I could send alerts to my clients when activities are approaching commencement or completion.

e.g. Lets say we had an activity Painting to commence on 30 Jan 2026. If suitable setup in Merlin could my client receive an alert thats prompts them "Reminder that painting is due to start in 10 days.....Then another 3 days out".

Aussie PM You may export your planing as ics calendar via File > Export > Calendar
You may then import the ics file to your Calendar or Reminders, to get notifications for actions.

So you could export the calendar file, send it to your customers and they'll get their alerts according to their alerts settings.

thanks Vicky. It seems a little clunky but might be a work around. Is there a way that I could set them up as a team member that would send them updates either via the gantt or Kanban Board? Note I've never used Kanban boards

for regular automatic updates… you may create a publisher exporting regularly current views (even filtered) in a file format your clients can easily read (maybe as PDF, or html?)
The files may then be saved to a common accessible path. Or automatically uploaded by the publisher to an sftp server. Or even sent by email to the users.
